Sun Tzu was a Chinese general, strategist, and philosopher who is traditionally believed to have lived around the 6th–5th century BCE during the Spring and Autumn period. He is best known as the author of The Art of War, one of the most influential books on strategy and warfare ever written.


The book explains principles such as careful planning, deception, intelligence gathering, and winning conflicts with minimal fighting. Sun Tzu’s ideas have influenced military leaders for centuries and are still widely applied today in areas like business, leadership, and negotiation.
